WHEREAS, the Rockhurst High School AquaHawks are coached by Paul Winkeler (Head Coach), Margaret Ulctt (Assistant Coach), Don Gansert (Assistant Coach), Chris Clement (Assistant Coach), and Mike Brockland (Assistant Coach); and,
WHEREAS, the Rockhurst High School AquaHawks are comprised of nineteen (19) young men listed as follows:

Thomas Robinson

and,
WHEREAS, prior to winning the Missouri High School State Swimming Championship, the Rockhurst High School AquaHawks won six (6) invitationals, broke nine (9) school records, scored 298 points-the most points scored in six (6) years, had two (2) swimmers qualify in every event, and broke the Missouri State Record in the 200 Medley Relay; and,
WHEREAS, AquaHawks swimmer Thomas Robinson won the backstroke event at the Missouri High School State Swimming Championship; and,
WHEREAS, Head Coach Paul Winkeler was named "Missouri Swim Coach of the Year"; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates the Rockhurst High School AquaHawks for their dedication and hard work throughout the season and for their magnificent triumph of winning the Missouri High School State Swimming Championship.
