Intro
A RESOLUTION instructing the County Counselor to direct all relevant discovery in preparation of binding arbitration hearing involving the admitted trespass on County park land by Kenneth McClain, Keith McClain, Bill House and others acting on their behalf.

Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Legislature desires to express an intention to protect the interests of taxpayers at the binding arbitration hearing involving the admitted trespass on County park land and the removal of dirt thereon by Kenneth McClain, Keith McClain, Bill House and others acting on their behalf; and,

WHEREAS, taxpayers are at risk now and in the future of admitted trespassers desecrate county park land and get away with it by not making payment of damages equal to an amount necessary to restore said land to its original condition plus treble or fourfold damages allowed by Missouri law; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED that the Jackson County Legislature instructs the County Counselor to engage in full and complete preparation for the hearing in order to obtain a favorable outcome and to establish a precedent now and for future generations.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
