WHEREAS, the United States Office of National Drug Control Policy's Midwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Program (HIDTA) Investigative Support Center has allocated an aggregate total of $71,348.00 for fiscal year 2005 for an intelligence analyst to be retained on contract by the Jackson County Drug Task Force; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2005 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund to cover a grant received from the United States Executive Office of the President's Midwest HIDTA Investigative Support Center to allow the Jackson County Drug Task Force to contract with an intelligence analyst:
