Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 17490, dated January 31, 2011, the Legislature did authorize the execution of Cooperative Agreements with certain outside agencies funded by the County=s Health Fund, for various public health purposes; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 17490, the Kansas City Free Health Clinic received an allocation of $58,825.00 to be used for services related to AIDS/HIV prevention and other services; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to revise the original budget presented by the Kansas City Free Health clinic due to staffing changes; and,
WHEREAS, under the revised budget, $1,687.00 will be reallocated from the peer support leader designation to emergency assistance funding for the Good Samaritan Project; and,
WHEREAS, an Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement is a suitable mechanism to memorialize the budget revisions; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement with the Kansas City Free Health Clinic at no additional cost to the County, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement and Addendum.
Fiscal Note
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
