INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 110-00 for the furnishing of blue grass and zoysia sod for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the only bid therein a bid from Greenhaven Sod of Riverside, MO; and,

WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Greenhaven Sod of Riverside, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriation to the using spending agency has heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
