INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator
Body
WHEREAS, the U. S. Department of Justice provides funding for the Sheriff Department's Community Policing program; and,
WHEREAS, this program serves crime victims; and,
WHEREAS, the total federal share of the grant is $192,636.00 with the local match of $48,159.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the attached grant application, incorporated herein by reference.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
