BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "GB-p" (General Business-Planned Development) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District GB-p a tract of land described as follows:
A 13.5ñ acre tract of land generally located 3/4 of a mile east of Mo 7 Hwy. on the north side of Wyatt more specifically, all that part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 48, Range 30 described as follows: Beginning at the SW corner of SW Quarter, thence South 90 00' 00" East along the south line of said SW 1/4 a distance of 873.16 feet; thence North 02 44' 08" West a distance of 408.76 feet; thence North 87 30' 51" West a distance of 261.36 feet; thence North 01 25' 30" East a distance of 371.71 feet; thence North 90 00' 00" West to a point on the West line of said SW Quarter; thence South along said West line to the Point of beginning.

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Colonial Nursery Corporation (RZ-96-039), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably unanimously recommended this application after a public hearing on October 24, 1996, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
