Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 20332, dated December 5, 2019, the Legislature did award a contract for owner's representative services ("Master Agreement") and any Component Services Agreements identified in the attachments to that Master Agreement to JCDC Partners, LLC, of Kansas City, MO, pursuant to Request for Proposals 17-19, for professional consulting services at an actual cost to the County not to exceed $1,309,400.00; and,
WHEREAS, due to the pandemic and the improvement of digital assembly techniques, much of the Master Agreement's allocation for reimbursable expenses, such as travel, have not been utilized; and,
WHEREAS, the attached change order redirects the unspent allocation for reimbursable expenses to accommodate a number of pre-design services and project related expenses not accounted for within the Owner's Representative's budget; and,
WHEREAS, the additional services include special regulatory permitting, real estate communication support, appraisal services, a site survey, and other related services; and,
WHEREAS, a no-cost change order to the contract is needed to memorialize the understanding of the parties and resolve all issues relating to the changes in the Master Agreement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached change order to the contract with JCDC Partners, LLC, of Kansas City, MO, at no cost to the County.
