A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a temporary construction easement and a permanent utility easement in favor of Spire Missouri, Inc., for a fee payable to the County.

Body
WHEREAS, Spire Missouri, Inc. has requested that the County grant a temporary construction and a permanent utility easement for the installation of a new 20 inch in diameter gas line and related gas line infrastructure along Woodson Road across the Rock Island Trail Corridor in Raytown, Missouri; and,

WHEREAS, Spire Missouri, Inc. needs to rebuild a main gas line system throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, which crosses Jackson County's Rock Island Corridor; and,

WHEREAS, Spire Missouri, Inc. has committed to keeping the Rock Island Trail open during construction; and,

WHEREAS, Spire Missouri, Inc, will pay the County's administrative processing fee, of $2,000.00, the total permanent easement fee of $5,226.80, and the tree replacement costs for 15 trees of $5449.00 totaling $12,675.80 in which will be paid upon execution of the agreements; now therefore,


BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that a temporary construction easement and a permanent utility easement are hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the easement on behalf of the County.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
