Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 67-95 for the furnishing of a digital logging recorder/reproducer for use by the Sheriff's Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

VENDOR BID

Dictaphone Corporation $15,985.23
Stratford, CT

Electronic Office Systems $16,296.00
Independence, MO

HB Distributors $16,705.50
Northridge, CA


and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Dictaphone Corporation of Stratford, CT, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Electronic Office Systems of Independence, MO, for the reason that its is the lowest and best bid, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
