AN ORDINANCE transferring $58,650.00 within the 2000 Park Fund and appropriating $58,650.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 2000 Grant Fund to cover the Recreational Trails Program grant received from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the transfer of matching funds.

Body
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded a grant by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources in the amount of $58,650.00, to pay for the development of a bicycle and multi-purpose trail at the Blue Springs Lake; and,
WHEREAS, this grant is subject to a $58,650.00 local match; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer and appropriation are necessary to place the grant and matching funds in the appropriate accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer and appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer and appropriation be and hereby are made:
