Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

Description: A 10 acre tract of land located at the northwest corner of Missouri Route F and Corn Cemetery Road and specifically described as the south 10 acres of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 20, Township 48, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri aka 38710 E. Corn Cemetery Road.




Section 2. The Jackson County Plan Commission, on September 15, 2005, held a public hearing and accepted testimony pertaining to the change of zoning requested by Beth Jackson. This request is consistent with the intent and purpose of the Master Plan, therefore, the Plan Commission voted 6 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL to the County Legislature.

Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Beth Jackson (RZ-2005-377), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on September 15, 2005, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
