Body
WHEREAS, in November 2005, a purchase order was issued on behalf of the Sheriff's Office for the purchase of an x-ray scanner machine, which was actually received by the Sheriff's Office in late 2005 or early 2006; and,

WHEREAS, funds sufficient for this purchase was included in the 2005 Sheriff's Office budget; and,

WHEREAS, with the change in the fiscal year, the purchase order was inadvertently canceled and the vendor was not paid; and,

WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the funds required to pay for this purchase in the proper spending account; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this appropriation; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
