Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200757 for the furnishing of pipe and plumbing supplies for use by the Public Works, Facilities Management, and Parks and Recreation Departments; and,

WHEREAS, eleven (11) solicitations were distributed and two (2) responses were received as follows;
BIDDER DISCOUNT RANGE ITEMS 1-15
Reeves Wideman, Lenexa, KS 45%
KC Windustrial, Kansas City, MO 17.5% to 73.75%
and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be divided and awarded to two vendors so that additional sources of supply are available when the low bidder does not have the needed items; and,
WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate the County to pay any specific amount; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson Coun...
