Body
WHEREAS, for many years, W.C. has served as the parking lot attendant for the downtown courthouse; and,
WHEREAS, W. C. has always taken his responsibilities seriously and runs the parking lot like a drill sergeant, protecting the assigned parking spots for County employees, and finding available parking for service vehicles and handicapped individuals; and,
WHEREAS, W.C. always works late on those Mondays when the legislature is in session in Kansas City, and can be depended upon to always be there in all sorts of weather; and,
WHEREAS, W. C. is well thought of throughout the County and makes every effort to get to know all employees; and,
WHEREAS, warm friendship and appreciation go out to W.C. for his 21 years of dedicated, loyal, and exceptional service to the County; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates W. C. Heard upon his retirement from Jackson County and wishes him well in all future endeavors...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
