Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited bids under Electronic Solicitation No.BB200249 for the purchase of one (1) disc brush chipper for use by the Public Works Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest two bids thereon, bids from the following:

and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Vegetation Management Supply of Kansas City, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,

WHEREAS, the acquisition of this equipment has rendered as excess to the County's needs, an existing 1999 Hurricane Mobark Model 2400 Chipper, serial number 3556; and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that this equipment be declared surplus and he be authorized to dispose of it by way of trade-in; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
