Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 52-96 for the furnishing of a Triplex Bank/Fairway mower for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Mid-America Industrial Equipment of Kansas City, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Mid-America Industrial Equipment of Kansas City, MO for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,
WHEREAS, in order to fund this purchase a transfer within the 1996 Park Enterprise Fund is necessary; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends such transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the following transfer be and hereby is made within the 1996 Park Enterprise Fund:

therefore,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
