Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources accepts applications made under the National Recreational Trails Program for a grant-in-aid of 50 percent of the total cost of eligible projects; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation proposes to submit an application to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to obtain a grant under the National Recreational Trails Program, for funds to renovate facilities at the Longview Horse Park, to include trail and jumping course improvements; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature supports the submission of a grant application to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources in connection with the National Recreational Trails Program for funds to renovate facilities at the Longview Horse Park.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
