Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Unified Development Code of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "LB" (Local Business) District and the "GB" (General Business) District so that there will be transferred from District LB to District GB a tract of land described as follows:
Description: All of that part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 30, Township 48, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 30, Township 48, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri, said point being the intersection of the center lines of Missouri State Highway 7 and Colbern Road; thence North along the center line of Missouri State Highway 7 for a distance of 290 feet; thence West on a line parallel to the center line of Colbern Road for a distance of 280 feet; thence South on a line parallel to the center line of Missouri State Highway 7 for a distance of 290 feet to the center line of Colbern Road; thence East 280 feet to a point of beginning, aka 9418 S. Missouri 7 Highway.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Ted Markham (RZ-2001-251), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 20, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...
