Body
WHEREAS, the City of Lone Jack, has requested the use of $1,797.00 from its County Urban Road System (CURS) account to cover the cost of improvements consisting of chip seal, asphalt overlay, and slurry seal to Bynum Road and Lone Jack Lee's Summit Road; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the project proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Lone Jack and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $1,797.00 to the City of Lone Jack for improvements to Bynum Road and Lone Jack Lee's Summit Road.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
