A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a Consent to Easement Structures in favor of the County which is necessary in connection with the construction of a ramp for the Blue Springs Lake Trail.

Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department is in the developmental stage of constructing a building trail at Blue Springs Lake; and,
WHEREAS, this project will include a ramp for the trail which will be built on property managed by the Corps of Engineers; and,
WHEREAS, the Corps of Engineers consents to the installation, operation, and maintenance of a trail ramp by Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, the County and the Corps of Engineers have negotiated and recommend the terms of the attached Consent to Easement Structures; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached Consent to Easement Structures is hereby approved, and that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Consent granted by the Corps of Engineers.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
