Body

WHEREAS, by Resolution 15793, dated February 21, 2006, the Legislature did award a twelve-month term and supply contract for use by the Jackson County Drug Task Force to Lifestyle Leasing of Kansas City, MO, as a sole source purchase; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing now recommends a twelve-month extension of the contract with Lifestyle Leasing of Kansas City, MO, as a sole source purchase commencing February 27, 2007, and terminating February 26, 2008; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the extension be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the extension; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract and extension, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
