Body
WHEREAS, the director of the Department of Public Works has submitted a request for permanent and temporary easements and permanent right of ways between Todd George Road and Blackwell Road, as part of a road improvement project along Colbern Road which require easements and right of ways as to three tracts of property under the administrative control of the Parks and Recreation Department; and,

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department Director has reviewed the easement requests and has no objection to the delineation of the easements and right of ways; and,

WHEREAS, the granting of these easements and right of ways are in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County and will also serve the interest of the Parks and Recreation by improving citizen access to two County parks; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute and to record any necessary documents to establish a public record of said easements and right of ways.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
