Body
WHEREAS, the COMBAT staff has recommended funding for the Resource Development Institute ("RDI") to continue its evaluation efforts for the prevention and treatment programs and to institute processes that will lead to evaluation of DARE and grant match programs, at cost to the County not to exceed $50,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, staff recommends that bids not be solicited for these services, because of RDI's unique familiarity with COMBAT and the work required; and,
WHEREAS, RDI will provide evaluation services, and will begin to prepare DARE programs for future involvement in the process; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County a Consulting Agreement with Resource Development Institute of Kansas City, Missouri, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor, at a cost to the County not to exceed $50,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
