BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
A 8 + acre tract of land generally located 1/2 + mile west of Wood Road on the south side of Hunter Road, more particularly described as all that part of the NE 1/4, Section 6, Township 50, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri beginning at a point on the North line of said NE 1/4, said part being S 87ø - 39' - 31" E, along said north line, 58.71 feet from the NW Corner of said NE 1/4; thence S 87ø - 39' - 31" E, continuing along said north line 472.98 feet to a point that is 2095.97 feet west of the NE Corner of said NE 1/4; thence S 04ø - 12' - 11" W, parallel with the west line of said NE 1/4, 752.17 feet; thence N 85ø - 47' - 49" W, 472.73 feet; thence N 04ø - 12' - 11" E, parallel with and 58.68 feet east of the west line of said NE 1/4, 736.80 feet to POB.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John Mills (RZ-96-035), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission favorably recommended this application in a public hearing on July 18, 1996, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
