Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for a temporary construction easement in connection with the Woods Chapel Road Project, No. 2293; and,

WHEREAS, the owner of the necessary property, Savannah Ridge Property Owners Association, Inc., has agreed to convey to the County, acting for the City of Lee's Summit, the requested temporary construction easement, a copy of which is attached hereto, for payment of the sum of $16,888.22, as itemized below;

and,

WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works recommends acceptance of the temporary construction easement upon the specified terms; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached temporary construction easement, be and hereby is accepted and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is directed to issue a lump sum payment in the amount of $16,888.22 to Savannah Ridge Property Owners Association, Inc., in consideration for said temporary construction easement, pursuant to the specific direction of the Director of the Department of Public Works.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
