Body
WHEREAS, the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners and Jackson County have previously entered into an Agreement and annual addenda thereto to provide the County Sheriff, Prosecuting Attorney, Division of Family Support, Department of Corrections, and Department of Collections with Alert II law enforcement computer information services; and,
WHEREAS, each of the above entities have requested that their respective allocations under this contract be increased in order to allow for additional access to these services over the year of 2004; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the requested increases to the contract be made and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the increases; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement, as amended.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
