Body
WHEREAS, the City of Independence has submitted a request for an easement within Little Blue River Trace Park for the installation, operation, and maintenance of a storm water transmission main and storm drainage facility for the Eastland Center; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has determined that this easement will have no adverse effect on the park; and,
WHEREAS, the Department and the City of Independence have negotiated and recommend the terms of the attached cooperative agreement and easement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached easement and cooperative agreement are hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement and easement on behalf of the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
