IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION declaring ten 12-gauge shotguns, as surplus, and authorizing their disposal by way of a trade-in, at no additional cost to the County. Intro RESOLUTION #11895, September 22, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Dixie M. Flynn, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has ten 12-gauge shotguns that have become excess property; and, WHEREAS, the Jackson County Purchasing Director has declared these shotguns as surplus; and, WHEREAS, by Resolution 11439, dated September 23, 1996, the Legislature authorized the purchase of miscellaneous law enforcement equipment and supplies for use by the Sheriff's Department from Ray O'Herron Co. of Danville, IL; and WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing recommends that the surplus shotguns be used as trade-ins to Ray O'Herron Co., per bid specifications; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Purchasing is hereby authorized to dispose of the surplus property by way of trade-in to Ray O'Herron Co. of Danville, IL, on the miscellaneous law enforcement equipment and supplies...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
