Body
WHEREAS, the Truman Medical Center, Inc.'s Teen Mentors of Mothers "Teen Moms'' program is a comprehensive mentoring program for pregnant and parenting teenage girls and families; and,
WHEREAS, the Teen Moms program is supported with funding from the United States Department of Health and Human Services in the amount of $197,297.00; and,
WHEREAS, these funds are subject to a local match in the amount of $46,358.00 for the Teen Moms program; and
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has reviewed this proposal and recommends the expenditure of these funds; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into the attached Agreement, a copy of which is incorporated herein by reference, with TMC...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
