Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 12826, dated August 2, 1999, enter into a contract with Tasco Construction of Pleasant Hill, MO, in the actual amount of $581,118.22, for the Buckner Tarsney Road @ Hammond Road Projects, No. 2354 and No. 2395; and,
WHEREAS, a previous change order has adjusted the contract price to its current authorization of $636,109.22; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 2 (Final), a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to adjust various plan quantities to as-built quantities and will decrease the contract amount by $43, 731.22, for a final amount of $592,378.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 2 to the aforesaid contract be, and is hereby, approved and the Director of Public Works be, and is hereby authorized to execute the said change order on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to release the balance of the encumbrance on this contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
