BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) and "RE" (Residential Estates) Districts, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RE a 0.32? tract of land located at 7702 S. Hillside School Road in Jackson County, MO, legally described as follows:
Description: The part of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 18, Township 48, Range 29, in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 1, Garver Estates - 1st Plat, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri; thence South 88 degrees 00 minutes 17 seconds East, 525.00 feet, to the Southeast corner of said Lot 1; thence continuing line of said section. South 88 degrees 00 minutes 17 seconds East, 30.00 feet to the East line of said section; thence South 01 degrees 59 minutes 43 seconds West, along said East line, 25.00 feet; thence North 88 degrees 00 minutes 17 seconds West, 555.00 feet; thence North 01 degrees 59 minutes 43 seconds East, 25.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Michael & Michelle Mora (RZ-2026-720), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 7 to 1 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on July 16, 2026, does hereby adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning...
