Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 85-95 for the furnishing of AutoCad and Softdesk software for use by the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon the following:

Charleston, MO
Mid-Kan Blueline, Inc. $17,545.00
Salina, KS
Cadd Solutions, Inc. $21,150.00
Springfield, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to CadLab of Charleston, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
