Body
WHEREAS, Jo Marie Guastello grew up in the Columbus Park neighborhood and chooses to remain a part of the rich diversity found in this area as a teacher, friend, advocate, and motivator; and,
WHEREAS, Jo Marie, a former teacher, attended Holy Rosary grade school and Glennon High School and graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City; and,
WHEREAS, Jo Marie volunteers her time, energy, and expertise by organizing neighborhood beautification projects, annual block parties, and charitable drives to assist those less fortunate; and,
WHEREAS, Jo Marie is a positive and driven role model who strives to better the lives of young and old alike; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature commends Jo Marie Guastello for her exemplary efforts and extends sincere appreciation for her commitment to serving her community.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
