Body
WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Stillhouse Culvert Replacement #1 Project, No. 2328, to acquire a right-of-way and permanent drainage, temporary construction, and water line easements over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of a certain property owner, Mary Stephenson, in the amount of $4,500.00, said property being more fully described in the conveyance instruments, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,

WHEREAS, the owner has agreed to convey said right-of-way and permanent drainage, temporary construction, and water line easements, and to settle the claim for damages and has executed these conveyances in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $4,500.00; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance issue a check in the amount of $4,500.00 in the name of Mary Stephenson, and that the check be delivered to the Department of Public Works, c/o Kaye Merkle, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
