Body
WHEREAS, the County and Friends of Sugar Creek, desire to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, whereby the County will pay Friends of Sugar Creek, $25,000.00 to be used by it to assist in the design, construction and operation of a historical and heritage center to serve the people of Sugar Creek; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
