Body
WHEREAS, the County desires to assist in the development of the inner city; and,
WHEREAS, the County deems it to be in the best interest of the citizenry to support programs involved in community redevelopment; and,
WHEREAS, the Twelfth Street Heritage Development Corporation has been actively involved in community redevelopment since January 1985, and is currently involved in planning and building new homes for the Heritage Homes Program; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the County Executive is authorized to execute an agreement with the Twelfth Street Heritage Development Corporation for funding of predevelopment and personnel costs not to exceed $25,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
