Body
WHEREAS, the Federal Highway Administration, through the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission, has offered the County a grant to replace the Harris Road Bridge; and,
WHEREAS, under this grant the County will be reimbursed up to 80% of the cost of the replacement; and,
WHEREAS, in order to accept this grant, it is necessary that the County enter into the attached Off-System Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program Agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Off-System Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program Agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
