A RESOLUTION awarding a twelve (12) month term and supply contract for the furnishing of rental equipment for use by the Parks and Recreation Department to All Seasons Party Rental of Grandview, MO, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 58-04. This award is based on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriation.

Body
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a continuing need for the furnishing of rental equipment; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve (12) month term and supply contract to All Seasons Party Rental of Grandview, MO, as the best and lowest bidder; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 58-04 for the furnishing of rental equipment for use by Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, a total of eighteen (18) Invitations to Bid were distributed and one (1) response was received; and,
WHEREAS, he has received a bid from All Seasons Party Rental of Grandview, MO; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to All Seasons Party Rental of Grandview, MO, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make payments to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available.
