A RESOLUTION congratulating Mark Gants, IV for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

Body
WHEREAS, Mark Gants, IV, son of Mark and Rebecca Gants of Blue Springs, has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout; and,
WHEREAS, in recognition of this high achievement, Mark will have his Eagle Scout Court of Honor, Troop 332, on Saturday, May 25, at 2:00 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Blue Springs, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, as a high school senior, Mark has achieved many goals and is an exemplary student; and
WHEREAS, Mark's senior year has also proved to be quite challenging in that his father, MAJ(P) Mark Gants, an Army Reservist with the 445th Medical Detachment in Independence, has been serving in Bosnia since January 2, 1996, with Operation Joint Endeavor, attached to 72nd Medical Detachment (Veterinary Services); now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Mark Gants, IV for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
