AN ORDINANCE transferring $233,100.00 within the 2026 Grant Fund and appropriating $233,100.00 from the undesignated fund balance of the 2026 Grant Fund in acceptance of a supplemental grant and authorizing the Director of Parks + Rec to execute an agreement received from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks Land and Water Conservation Fund Program for use by the Parks + Rec Department.

Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department received a supplemental grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks Land and Water Conservation Fund program in the amount of $233,100.00; and,
WHEREAS, the grant is subject to a $233,100.00 fifty percent (50%) County match; and,
WHEREAS, the scope of the grant is to provide funding for a playground and sidewalk at the Alex George Wetland; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place these grant and matching funds in the appropriate spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2026 Grant Fund and appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2026 Grant Fund be and hereby are made:
