Body
WHEREAS, the County and the Family Court Division desire to enter into an agreement with Mid-America Regional Council, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, whereunder the County will pay an amount not to exceed $11,000 to MARC for the provision of professional grant writing, administrative, and consulting services in connection with the Missouri Department of Economic Development's Block Grant to the Family Court Division, only if such a grant is awarded; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement, subject to the award of a grant and the appropriation of funds.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
