Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
A 10 ± acre tract of land generally located one mile north of Cowherd Road on the east side of Jasper Bell Road and more specifically described:

THAT PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 13, TOWNSHIP 48 NORTH, RANGE 31 WEST, IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

BEGINNING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID NORTHWEST QUARTER; THENCE S88°01'10"E ON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID NORTHWEST QUARTER, 261.00 FEET; THENCE S29°11'45"E, 988.19 FEET; THENCE N88°01'10"W, 769.43 FEET TO THE WEST LINE OF SAID NORTHWEST QUARTER; THENCE N1°46'04"E ON SAID WEST LINE, 845.48 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING (SAID TRACT CONTAINS 10.00 ACRES, MORE OR LESS)


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Marilynne Hackley (RZ-2000-190), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on April 20, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
