Body
WHEREAS, Minute Circle F.H. has been awarded a private grant from the Kauffman Foundation, in the amount of $169,046.00, to be used in connection with its "Prime Time" program; and,
WHEREAS, this program is designed to assist school age students in their academic careers life skills, and prevention education; and,
WHEREAS, Minute Circle F.H. has requested County Anti-Drug Sales Tax matching funds in the amount of $25,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has reviewed this proposal and recommends the expenditure of these funds; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein by reference, with Minute Circle F.H. for its Prime Time program; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
