Body
WHEREAS, George B. Forte' Jr. was born in Kansas City, received his elementary and high school education in the Kansas City, Missouri School District, and his secondary education at Central Missouri State University; and,

WHEREAS, George aspired to be an integral and contributing citizen of his community and joined John Turner Lodge #106 where he has been a member for ten years; and,

WHEREAS, after countless hours of working toward the lodge's goals, George eventually became the Worshipful Master, and the Grand Lodge of the State of Missouri and Jurisdiction recognized Lodge #106 as the Lodge of the Year; and,

WHEREAS, George is currently the Grand Senior Stewart of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of the State of Missouri and Jurisdiction; and,

WHEREAS, George also joined Kansas City Consistory #7, Scottish Rite Mason, Prince Hall Affiliation, became a 32nd degree Mason, and was elected to the office of Most Wise & Perfect Master of the Rose Croix, a position which he held for three years; and,

WHEREAS, on December 14, 1997, George was elected to the highest office in the Temple, that of Illustrious Potentate; and,

WHEREAS, George has made great efforts in bringing Allah Temple #6 to the forefront in the State of Missouri and has carefully and meticulously executed his beliefs, ideas, and goals; and,

WHEREAS, George has participated in the Habitat for Humanity project, is a member of the NAACP, was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and the Boy's Club, and is a member of the Fraternal Order of the Mic-O-Say Tribe; and,

WHEREAS, George has worked at the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority for 18 years and was recognized as a distinguishe...
