Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources has awarded grant funding to Jackson County in the amount of $3,258.00 under its Historic Preservation Program; and,

WHEREAS, said funding shall be used to contract with a consultant to determine the cause of log deterioration at Fort Osage and to make recommendations concerning remedial measures; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1996 Grant Fund to cover the grant funded by the Historic Preservation Program administered by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources:
