Body
WHEREAS, in connection with the Lydia Avenue Bridge Replacement Project, No. 2391, a County Urban Road System Project within the city limits of the City of Kansas City, the City proposes to relocate an existing waterline in the area of the bridge project to minimize the potential for future disruption to the new bridge and roadway; and,
WHEREAS, under the attached Cooperative Agreement, the City will pay the County an amount not to exceed $125,000.00, and the County will utilize this sum to include in its contract for this project a provision requiring the successful contractor to relocate the waterline in a manner satisfactory to the City; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Cooperative Agreement with the City of Kansas City, Missouri.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
