Body
WHEREAS, the Lee's Summit High School "Lady Tigers" soccer team received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award for the 2001-2002 school year; and,
WHEREAS, the award recognizes soccer teams that attain an overall grade-point average of 3.25 or above; and,
WHEREAS, under the leadership of Todd Krey (Head Coach), Tim Guinnee (Asst. Coach), Jennifer Coleman (Asst. Coach), and Christy Roccaforte (Asst. Coach), the Lady Tigers achieved a 3.47 cumulative grade point average; and,
WHEREAS, members of the soccer team include: Liz Lewis, Jessica Laky, Jamie Satterfield, Ashleigh Todd, Lindsey Dobnikar, Rachel Benigar, Rachael Shinabargar, Kerry Hudlemeyer, Whitney Rinck, Lindsay Ewert, Emily Brooks, Anna Stone, Leah Anson, Megan Jackson, Annie Zellhoefer, Emily Roark, and Katie Lewis; and,
WHEREAS, team members Ashleigh Todd, Leah Anson, Lindsay Ewert, Annie Zellhoefer, and Katie Lewis deserve special praise and recognition for maintaining 4.0 grade-point averages; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates the Lee's Summit High School's girls soccer team upon receiving the 2001-2002 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
