Body
WHEREAS, Carolyn Langston began her career at Jackson County on September 10, 1980 as a Clerk III in the Records Department; and,

WHEREAS, after 12 years of exemplary assistance to customers and performance of the duties required by her department, she became an administrative assistant for the Management Information Systems Department where her duties consisted of payroll, departmental billing and purchasing, budget control, correspondence, and other administrative responsibilities; and,

WHEREAS, appreciation and respect go out to Carolyn as she has always displayed professionalism in whatever she does, not only in greeting visitors but in interacting with fellow employees; and,

WHEREAS, those who work with Carolyn describe her as competent, efficient, helpful, friendly, and dedicated; and,

WHEREAS, Carolyn will be missed greatly by friends and co-workers as she leaves the Kansas City area for a new position in California; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature recognizes Carolyn Langston for her eighteen years of outstanding service to Jackson County and wishes her well in all future endeavors...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
