Body
WHEREAS, Laurence E. Morgan has faithfully served Jackson County for twenty years; and,
WHEREAS, Laurence started with the Public Works Department in the Engineering Division in 1978 as an engineering technician, and in 1986 transferred to the Environmental Services Department; and,
WHEREAS, during his career with the County, Laurence oversaw the food inspection section, inspected food service establishments, day care centers, motels, schools, and swimming pools and, promoted environmental health and consumer protection; and,
WHEREAS, Laurence deserves the highest of praise and recognition for his work, having admirably fulfilled his many responsibilities as a trustworthy and responsible employee of Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, admiration, respect, appreciation, and warm friendship go out to Laurence for his twenty years of unparalleled service to Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Laurence E. Morgan upon his retirement, thanks him for his twenty years of dedicated service, and wishes him success in all future endeavors...Fiscal Note
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
